The Ponderosa Queen has a rising beam ceiling that is trimmed in knotty pine. It is a cozy and scenic guestroom; decorated with "Country Fresh"decor. Look out your the big six-foot octagonal window over the central living area with its 23-foot cathedral ceiling and walls that are mostly glass to the rugged High Sierra mountains, tall Ponderosa Pines and the "Snow King" winter ski slopes of Squaw Valley USA.
During the rest of the year, you might get a glimpse of people horseback riding, golfing, or maybe a colorful hot air balloon, bobbing into the valley. After a big day take a nice hot steamy shower and then just lay in this comfy bed and gaze out at the stars, read your book, or check out some of the 200 programs on your remote controlled Satellite TV.
Descend the spiral staircase to the Central Living Rooms with a ceiling that rises about 23 feet and a view that will delight you.
