Directions to Poole's Guesthouse

From Bay Area to the Junction of I-80 and SR-89:

Take I-80 East to the Junction of I-80 (exit 185) and SR-89, (Lake Tahoe/Squaw Valley) exit.

From Reno Airport:

Take the US-395 North to the I-80 exit. Keep Left on the ramp. Merge onto I-80 West and go about 32 miles. Take I-80 West to the Junction of I-80 (exit 185) and SR-89 (Lake Tahoe/Squaw Valley) exit.

From Junction of I-80 and SR-89:

Now that you are on Highway 89, drive about 9 miles south, turn Right at the entrance to Squaw Valley USA (Squaw Valley Road). Drive 1.4 miles on Squaw Valley Road to Wayne, turn Right onto Wayne. Go 2 short blocks to the end of Wayne and turn Left onto Sandy Way.

As you round the corner, start counting the houses on the downhill side of the street. Poole's Guesthouse is the 19th house; 1509 Sandy Way. There are two orange poles that mark our driveway. Park on the parking pad as you enter the property, DO NOT drive down the walkway to the house.

Rules at Poole's Guesthouse:

We take off shoes inside the guesthouse, so you might want to put an extra pair of socks or some slippers in you suitcase.

We do NOT provide meals but we do offer use of our wonderful gourmet kitchen. You are welcome to bring in groceries (we have most of the standard spices on hand) and cook your favorite recipes! You'll love the view from the dining area! Laundry facilities are also available and detergent is provided.

We cannot accommodate pets, but we can tell you about a B & B for Pets which is owned by a local vet.
